What is Suika Game?
Suika Game (Japanese: Suika Game, Watermelon Game) is a puzzle game that combines elements of falling-block puzzle games with merge mechanics. The game was developed by Aladdin X and first released in April 2021 as a built-in app for the popIn Aladdin projector series.
The premise is simple yet addictive: drop fruits into a container, and when two identical fruits touch, they merge into a larger fruit. The goal is to create the ultimate watermelon while preventing the fruits from overflowing the container.

Game History
Origins
The game is inspired by the Chinese game "Hexiaoxigua" (Merge Watermelon), which went viral on Chinese social media in January 2021. Aladdin X adapted this concept and released it as an original game for their projectors in April 2021.
The Chinese original features a different fruit evolution chain: Cherry, Tangerine, Lemon, Kiwi, Tomato, Peach, Pineapple, Coconut, Watermelon, and Big Watermelon. The Japanese version on Aladdin projectors and Nintendo Switch uses a slightly different set of fruits.
