~What Is Azeroth Survivors?~

Azeroth Survivors is a fan-made World of Warcraft themed survivor roguelike that runs directly in the browser. You pick one of nine classic classes, move with WASD or the arrow keys, and your attacks fire on their own while enemy waves keep growing. Defeated enemies drop experience, every level up offers a choice of upgrade cards, and chests, gear and boss fights decide how long a run lasts. It was built on the World of Warcraft 1.12.1 engine by Aethus and released as a free browser game.

~Azeroth Survivors Features~

Nine Classic WoW Classes

Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock and Druid are all playable. Every class has a different starting spell and a different way to scale, so the class you pick in the first minute shapes the entire run you are about to build.

Automatic Attack Combat

Your spells cast on their own. There is no aiming and no clicking to survive, which means the whole skill of Azeroth Survivors lives in movement: reading the screen, circling the crowd, and deciding which upgrade is worth more right now than later.

Gear, Rarity And Chests

Runs drop loot with a rarity ladder that runs from common up to legendary. Rings, trinkets, amulets and necklaces fill your slots, chests need gold to open, and luck improves the odds of rolling epic or legendary gear in the first place.

Twelve Zones And Bosses

The world is split into 12 zones, each with its own gear set, and roughly 60 bosses to prepare for. A zone boss like Edwin VanCleef can eat a whole run if your single target damage is too low, which is what pushes players into talent planning.

Talent Trees And Co-op

Each class has a 31-point talent plan with spell and equipment priorities, and the game supports co-op lobbies for one to five players on the same version. It is also fully playable solo, which is how most runs are started.

Runs In A Real Browser

Azeroth Survivors is a WebGPU game, so it runs in current desktop Chrome or Edge with hardware acceleration on, and in recent Safari. There is no installer and no account, but a browser without WebGPU will show a warning and a blank canvas instead of the game.

~Azeroth Survivors Tips & Tricks~

1

Kite In Circles

Because your attacks fire on their own, the only control you have is your position. Running in wide circles around a pack of enemies keeps the auto-cast spells hitting everything while the slower melee mobs trail behind you. Straight lines get you cornered, and a circle gives you an escape route that never closes.

TIP
Pro Tip

Keep moving in one direction and never stop while a pack is on top of you.

2

Scale One Spell First

Area spells look impressive against trash mobs but they are weak against bosses, and bosses are what end runs. Fireball, Pyroblast, Frostbolt and Arcane Missiles are the single target backbone of most successful builds. Level that one spell hard, then keep a secondary area spell purely for movement and crowd control.

TIP
Pro Tip

Pick damage and cooldown upgrades on your main single target spell before anything else.

3

Use Luck Early

Luck raises the chance of rolling epic and legendary items, which is what turns a weak run into a strong one. Gear rarity also decides whether a chest is worth opening. Because luck compounds over a run, taking a luck card early is often better than a small damage card, even though the numbers look smaller.

TIP
Pro Tip

Take one luck upgrade early, then stack damage and cooldown once your gear starts rolling.

4

Save Gold For Chests

Chests cost gold, and gold is also spent on class upgrades and gear rerolls, so spending it in the wrong order wastes a run. Heroic difficulty enemies drop more gear but you need the base zones cleared first. Reroll only when you know what you are missing, since each reroll burns gold you could have kept for a chest.

TIP
Pro Tip

Bank gold until a chest is on the map, then reroll only the specific stat you need.

5

Plan Your Talent Tree

Each class has a 31-point talent plan, and the talent points decide which spell upgrades and equipment priorities you unlock. Picking a talent that matches the build you actually play, like cooldown reduction on your main spell, saves points you would otherwise waste. Reference guides list the plan per class so you are not guessing.

TIP
Pro Tip

Spend points on cooldown reduction for your main spell before raw damage percentages.

6

Watch The Damage Meter

The in-game damage meter shows which spell is actually doing the work, and it is the fastest way to spot a wasted upgrade. It also shows a boss damage column, which is what matters once the real bosses appear. Resetting the meter between zones makes it easy to compare a fresh set of picks.

TIP
Pro Tip

Check the boss damage column before a zone boss, not the total damage column.
